Jessica Mutch, Principal

Jessica Mutch has more than fifteen years experience in consulting, finance and operations. She is sought after for interim leadership, financial consulting, and change management projects, including reorganizations and ground breaking new departments. As a strategic thinker, Jessica’s approach is to find creative, cost-effective, and workable solutions. Her thoughtful, goal-oriented methodology has been invaluable to many organizations.

Organizational change is holistic, dynamic and affects many areas of a business. Jessica’s perspective and expertise include a number of disciplines: finance, operations, and administration. While objectively identifying areas in need of change or improvement, Jessica successfully implements new methods and systems to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining current operations.

Drawing on a foundation of financial consulting and operations, Jessica has played a critical role in the financial viability of a number of companies.

As Vice President of Finance and Operations at Children's Friend, Jessica conceived and implemented turnaround strategies to enable the organization’s ongoing mission and fiscal health. She educated staff and created systems to secure continued stability. The $5M organization improved operating income by more than half a million dollars in one year.

As Controller, Director and co-founder of Co-nect, Inc., Jessica launched the Finance, Human Resources, and Administration departments at the company’s inception. Her responsibilities included management of sales and operations support, customer service, contracting, and database management.

Jessica is a member of the Isenberg School of Management Advisory Council, and serves as Board Director (former Treasurer) for Peace at Home. She is actively involved in her community and is generous with her volunteer efforts in humanitarian and corporate organizations. She is also a team-leader for Wilderness Heals and a home care volunteer for Hospice.

Jessica has an MBA with honors from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she taught accounting to undergraduate and graduate students. She received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Maine.
